The double-sunk white enamel dial features oversized black Arabic numerals, blued-steel spade hands, and a recessed small seconds register. Signed “Illinois Bunn Special,” the dial further notes its 23-jewel, 60-hour movement, a hallmark of the model’s high-grade railroad specifications.
The finely detailed case, oversized numerals, and strong graphic presence give the piece enduring charm, equally appealing to collectors and those drawn to early American watchmaking.
